How to create your own Christmas Cards with Canva.com & Printing One
- Visit www.canva.com (Create an account if prompted)
- To start your design, click on the button “create a design”
- Type in “Christmas card” in the dropdown search box. Click the “Christmas card” option (as indicated in the red arrow below). *******IMAGE ********
- A new tab or window will open in your browser with your new design (like the graphic below)
*******IMAGE ******** - On the left, you will see many template options. You can scroll down until you find one that you like.
- Click on that template and it will appear in the design screen. That will be your template.
*******IMAGE ******** - To change out the photo, click on the current photo in the template and delete it.
- You can upload your own photo by clicking on “uploads” on the left.
- Then, click on “upload media” and select the photo off your computer to upload.
*******IMAGE ******** - It will take a moment for your file to upload to Canva. When complete, you will see the image in your files. You can simply click on it and it will appear in your design.
- Then, you can move the photo and crop it to fit the template.
*******IMAGE ******** - Next you can edit the text on the template to whatever you like.
- (OPTIONAL) If you want a printed back side, you can click “+ Add page” and find another template for the back side.
- When you are complete with your design, click the download icon at the top right.
*******IMAGE ******** - There will be a download options box that will pop up. Make sure to select “PDF Print” and select “crop marks and bleed”. Then, you can download.
